ATTN: The address to send your knits to has changed! See below. All other processes remain the same.
Help knit for Syrian refugees!
All you need to do is use your knitting skills to create something warm for a refugee. Anything goes, but if you want suggestions, see what others are knitting on our ravelry.com group page.
Then, write a short letter to a refugee to go with your item (in English or Arabic). Don’t know what to write? See the Write A Note page.
Once you’ve done that, send your item to Warm Hands, 350 Revere Beach Blvd., No. 3-3N, Revere MA, 02151.
From there, your knits will be packaged and sent with the Karam Foundation to the Al Salaam School for refugees on the border of Turkey and Syria, where they will be distributed. The Karam Foundation takes bi-annual missions to Turkey.
